Mental Health Academy gives me the up-to-date learning I need for my profession as social worker, counsellor and as mental health clinician. The speakers are expert in their field of work and the most recent webinar with Dr Hronis was excellent. I struggled using DBT as one of the tools in trauma counselling. I have been a member of the Mental Health Academy (MHA) since March 2015 and attach a short video reviewing my experience with MHA.
I have attended the Suicide Prevention Summit online for a number of years now. The variety of guest lecturers add valuable diversity of experiences and approaches to suicide prevention and postvention work. I highly recommend all counseling professionals to attend a summit in the future and it is great fun to see how many people attend from… Read more
around the world and share a common goal. The only difficulty to this course for me is the emotional impact of the subject matter.

The MHA Summit 2025 was my first through MHA and it had superseded all my expectations with content, quality of sessions, ability for questions, engagement during the live shows and an option for on demand which came in handy as I couldn't attend some on the Thursday live due to work commitments. At first, I thought a couple of the sessions might… Read more
not be relevant to my line of work, but I still attended and I am so glad that I did. For an hour session, the content that was delivered was in depth, easy to follow and very up to date with current issues. I am so very thankful that I have the ability to rewatch the sessions and would highly recommend for the next one, spending the extra on the ticket for the on-demand option. My knowledge in the areas that were spoken about has been expanded beyond my initial expectations and the resources/tools that I have picked up from the sessions is invaluable. It was also fun to see the same names joining throughout the summit on the live sessions and the engagement during that time was also so very beneficial. Thank you Pedro for all your organising and behind the scenes work to get this to happen; Thank you to all the speakers for your knowledge and time; and to all the attendees for an amazing Summit experience.
It was the last minute. I'd been rushed off my feet. I hadn't registered for the Mental Health Super Summit 2025, and I thought there is no way I will have time to access the webinar. I thought I love the cause and will donate. Then I thought, oh I will pay for the subscription so I can watch the sessions up to late December. Thinking that was… Read more

Day 1 came, I was keen and played a webinar whilst in the car and then another. Saturday came and it was a Mental Health Super Summit feast. I was in the Grove. Forget the gardening, the sorting out the study, catching up for dinner with friends. I indulged in a degustation of practical psychological delights and by 7pm my cup was over flowing.
The impact, it was like a mix between a revival and Tony Robbins. I got my grove back. What a lovely refresher. I was inspired. Quality, professionalism and authenticity all the way through. Definitely the best bang for my buck. I no longer felt burnt out like I did when I signed up. The perfect remedy.
Thank you to all the presenters. You are truly inspiring. Thank you so much. I'm making some adjustments to my practice.
I recently completed a training course through Mental Health Academy, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The platform offers a wide range of evidence-based courses that are thoughtfully structured and highly relevant to modern mental health practice. The content was clear, engaging, and grounded in current psychological… Read more
research. Each module was easy to follow, and I appreciated the balance between theory and practical application. The instructors demonstrated strong expertise in their fields, and the real-world case examples helped bring complex topics to life. The online learning platform itself was intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to track progress, revisit materials, and download certificates.
Overall, Mental Health Academy delivers high-quality, flexible, and affordable training that supports both personal growth and professional excellence. I’d highly recommend it to counselors, psychologists, social workers, and anyone passionate about improving mental health outcomes.

The presentations, the presenters and the material the presenters used were excellent. The topics were current and very relevant to the clients I work with. I appreciated the opportunity to communicate with other attendees and that the materials are available after the program. Not many programs are offered virtually over a weekend and this… Read more
makes the program more accessible to me and easier to work into my life schedule.
I do wish that there was more time to ask questions of the presenters but I do understand the time constraints and the presenters do provide contact information.
The MHA provides a wonderful service for those working in the mental health field by offering series of topics that are current and relevant by presenters knowledgable about their field and hat are information is accessible and reasonable. I feel MHA does an excellent job supporting the mental health community.
I personally enjoyed all the presenters. Such wisdom was imparted by all of them through their experience in their field. So much to glean from. Thank you for your time especially on a weekend.
MHA has been supremely generous, thoughtful and consistent in their trainings, bringing people together to learn with leaders in the field. I appreciate the knowledge and dedication of the speakers and the helpfulness of the MHA staff. Thanks again!

WE could use more MENTAL HELP to avert SUICIDE – Despite internet glitches and repeated misinformation/terminology, such as mental "health", "symptoms" (there aren't any; psychic symbolism, but not symptoms reflecting physiological, not psychosomatic dysfunction) and non-current, under-representation of the psychosocial science that grounds mental HELP, the conference was FREE.
Somewhat disappointed – I learned a few things from the recent summit, but I was very disappointed that you gave a platform for a clinician to speak and Internal Family Systems with people who use substances who was not trained in that modality. That seems disingenuous and misleading.
Some challenging presentations – As a practitioner I am not as interested in data presentations but rather in some presentations that support and enrich my clinical practice Particularly enjoyed the presentation on Men and therapy

This event was an amazing weekend packed with great reminders, learnings and teaching! Having the opportunity to connect with others who work in this field to share best practices and new information is incredibly valuable! Well done!
The speakers were knowledgeable and engaging, and their authenticity stood out. Two speakers openly shared their experiences with substance use, which helped reduce stigma and offered hope to those struggling. Overall, the webinar was insightful and meaningful, and it will enhance and expand my clinical skill set.
Topics chosen are relevant and practical. Presentations are so helpful to practising counsellor. Easy to register for courses and affordable costs. Highly recommended.
The subjective matter was very life changing for example Harm Reduction ignorance on this subject matter effects those in recovery with stigma. MI I have attend probably 10 trainings on this subject matter and this was by far the best. The facilitator seemed qualified to train on the subject He is continue to teach it which means he is continuing to think about the subject.
The Mental Health Academy Team did a spectacular job in organizing the 2026 Working with Addictions Summit. Every session I attended was insightful, engaging, and provided valuable understanding for our work in this field. addressing difficult questions during the Q&A sessions. The technical staff worked to ensure the event ran smoothly. The Mental Health Academy provided ten CEUs with a no-fee registration option for which I am highly appreciative. This demonstrates a true commitment to supporting and improving the work of those in the field. This is the second year that I have attended. I will be back next year.
The entire summit was informative and educational. The presenters were knowledgeable about their subject and presented valuable information. Great conference and I will be back next year, and invite my co-workers and professional friends. Thank you for all your hard work to make this conference possible.

The 2026 Addiction Summit was awesome. i enjoyed the topics and speakers. i took away so much knowledge that will help me in my day to day work with clients. I was especially excited about the information received on self care and on the myths and facts about marijuana.
Mental Health Academy is very awesome. Very proessional presentors that know the material very well. They do a very nice job of presenting it. I did a weekend summit and am very pleased that I did!
One of the best organizations for supporting mental health professionals! The addiction summit was filled with great presentations, very useful informations. Thank you with all my heart!
The Working with Addictions Summit was a excellent resources and offered vast information on different topics dealing with substance use. I learned a great deal of information and enjoyed each session. I highly recommend the Summit and look forward to attending again in the future. The cost of the Summit is easily affordable for everyone especially since it includes CEUs!
The course content was excellent. With over 2,000 people signing on, it was not surprising that there were access issues. I appreciate that MHA made all of the recordings available but I can only use CE that I attend live for my licensure in my state. I was still able to attend 9 of the sessions live so I'm good. I did download all of the slides and will study further, take continuing training so I can use what is relevant to my clients. Show details
This summit was so informative. The presenters educated us on the today’s updated methods of treatment and the scheduled statuses of current Drugs and the risk of THC concentration and how it impacts focus and time.
Thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of speakers from Psychdelics to Marijuana facts! I learned appropriate things to use at my place of employment today (middle school)
As usual MHA continues to provide a well rounded platform by hosting a great group of presenters. The training was exceptional, and provided me with a greater respect for our addiction community and the professional who serve them.
